UCI BMX Supercross World Cup - Copenhagen, Denmark May 7-8 Round 2 of the 2010 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup Series was held May 7-8 in Copenhagen, Denmark. For the third time the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup presented by Swatch was hosted in Copenhagen. The Supercross race series keeps getting larger in rider turnout and this was another record weekend with over 180 of the worlds Elite Athletes meeting up in Copenhagen. The riders were not only looking to try to make their way to the main event, but this was the first event that starts the 2 year long collection of valuable Olympic points for both riders and Country qualifying. 
Arielle Martin was selected as part of Team USA for this SX event and was riding her limited Team USA edition Podium bike. Arielle has had huge success in the past on the UCI Supercross tour and she was looking for another impressive result. Things didn't start off smooth for her, crashing in the first round of qualifying and needing to play catch up in the remaining 2 races. She made that look easy, as she went onto transfer from the qualifiers and semi final, making her way to the main event. Arielle was looking for a top 3 finish, as she always can be found contending for a win, but unfortunately a crash in the first straightaway would leave her down, but not hurt, finishing up 8th for the day. NBL Freedom Nationals - May 7-9 Danny Caluag headed over to Woodbridge, Virginia for the 5th stop on the 2010 NBL Pro Series. Danny has had a good season so far in the NBL and was looking to add to the year's early success. Danny would be in the main event each day, placing 2nd on Saturday and 4th on Sunday. Danny now leads the Pro Title chase in the NBL and will look to add that title to his previous 3 ABA #1 Pro titles. The Team will now get ready for the next event, May 28-30th in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the ABA Spring Nationals.
