Arnaud Dubois Beynost Coupe de France race report
Yes it was good to win for first european week end, saturday started ok, it was pretty cold, light snow too but a lot of riders, we had 1/8 finals with of course some frenchies but also Norvegians, swiss, italians, germans, dutchs, so pretty good level for the first 2 rounds of the french cup.

Definetly another weather than 2 weeks ago in Florida,

So saturday race, I was feeling ok, still not 100% on first straight but I knew it wasn't my strong point so I tried to fight on the track, and that worked till the final.
I was in the middle of the pack and got a bit stocked. Couldn't get better than 6th. It's been a cold and long day, track was really soft wich made it slow and very hard to finish. At least I can say that I'm good in endurance cause I felt good all along the day.

Sunday, same race, same guys, track is about the same beginning of the day but getting softer and softer. I won motos, got 2nd in semi so I could choose in third. Good, my first straight is better but still not fast enough. When we came up the hill for the final, it was snowing a lot and the track was all white!!! I think I've never raced in these conditions!
So from the middle, I could come out the first turn in second following Daudet, I came back on him on third straight but knew that I was feeling good so waited till last straight and passed him there.

So I'm now leading french cup with Thomas Hamon (who got 1st and 6th), still races to go but it feels good to win and to see that I'm pretty ready except a few things still to work.
Next stop, Azé, next 2 rounds of french cup.

Arnaud
