| Round 3 and 4 for the European series were back in Klatovy, Chzech Republic!! Normally it always rains here but this time it was really nice sunny weather, perfect for racing. They rebuild the track so the lay out was a lot different then 2005!! Friday was practise and i felt ok, nothing special! Saturday was race day, i cruised pretty easily through all my qualification rounds and made it to the final. My buddy from New Zealand (the other side of the world) made his trip to Europe to do some racing here. Kurt pulled me on the first straight i tried to pass him on the last straight but made a mistake and finished 2nd on saturday. The next race was round 4, again the same story, i wasnt feeling that comfortable yet, because 2 days of racing is still a lot! I won my qualification rounds, and made it to the final, I pulled away on the first straight and won that race!! I was happy with that. Im staying with my Teammanager for the rest of the week and he will drive us to Italy big thanks for that!!! |
