 The Dutch Crupi Europe riders had theire first National at Luyksgestel. Except of Jay Schippers (not recovered from his crash at the European rounds from zwolle) all riders competed. A few riders were very remarkable this weekend, to start with "lady" Dana Sprengers, no one, including herself didn't believe in good results this season, after her last years heavy knee injury , but she amazed with a 1st spot in saturdays elite women time trial and she exceeded herself in elite womens main event with a perfect 2nd ! And then ............... Jelle van Gorkom, he is back, and how ! recovered from his shoulder surgery and raced in the USA during his 3 month training camp over there, he felt realy good. Also amazing with a 5th in saturdays elite men time trial he beated the Dutch national team riders in the main event. Kevin Sprengers did not make the main with a 5th in his semi Schippers bros Jordi and Nick ruled the 15-16 boys cruiser and took 1 and 2 in the final. In 15-16 boys (70 participants) Jordi Schippers(14) finished 4th in todays final and his brother Nick unfortunately crashed in qualifying position in his quarter.
