Last Thursday after a six hour drive we arrived at Foothill Ranch where Robert de Wilde lives. we visited Oakley, TLD and Robert of course. Friday we left for Lake Perris (1 hour drive) were we had another hotel. around midday we went to the track for practice. Weather forcast didnt look good they talked about thunderstorms and heavy rain showers. We did a few laps and in the afternoon there was a pre race for which I was signed up. First i decided not to race but when the weather was better then expected i raced and won my class. Now i didnt have to practice next morning if it rained. On saturday race day we had a rain delay for 2 hours. My gates were pretty good and made it to the quarter (my age group) and semi in expert 13-14 open. As i said my gates are good today but sometimes on the track it looks like im standing still, these guys run such heavy gearings on the fast tracks, i spin and spin but couldnt come any closer.
