Last monday (i know i'm late again) me and Jelle went to the Dutch cyclist of the year award winning ceremony were he got a trophy for his 3rd spot in Junior cruiser at the wolrds in China. All Dutch medal winners from this year major cycling events were present. We met a lot of world famous Dutch cyclists at a fancy dinner. Jelle was the only BMXer at this event and had to explain what BMX was. As expected NO'N of the Dutch Elite or Junior BMXers were nominated for any category in spite of their (good) results. Only Willy Kanis was nominated for Dutch female cyclist of the year, but that was only for her achievements on the velodrome and not for BMX . But Olympic gold medal winner Marianne Vos won this tittle. sorry for the quality for my photo's but i couldn't bring my PRO camera
