| Kevin Sprengers raced Copenhagen-Malmoe |
![]() Last weekend there was a race in Sweden and Denmark. Thursday: So me and my dad went with the car to Copenhagen. It was a very long trip but after 9 hours we finally arrived in Copenhagen. We went to a campingsite where we stayed in a little house. It looked like the house could collapse anytime. But the rest of it look nice and we had a place to sleep so it was good enough. Friday: In the morning I did some sprint training and after that we went to the supercross track of Copenhagen. There was only one man working so I asked if I could do some training laps on the track. He agreed, so I could train a little bit. The track was really soft so the pro-section was really difficult. After the practise we went to the track in Malmoe. It was a closed track so we only could see it outside the fences. The track looked nice but a bit small. After a few minutes we went back to the campsite and chilled there the whole day. Saturday: Today it was racing day. We went to the track in Malmoe and did some good practise there. The track was oké, only the first corner was very soft and very low. But everyone had the same problem so we had to deal with it. I felt pretty good so I hoped for a good result today. It was pretty windy but the motos weren't very hard so I easily could go on through to the finals. In the finals I messed up my gate. I couldnt come back on the track so i finished 6th. After the race we were invited to train on the Copenhagen track. So I trained there again but no-one could make the 3rd jump of the pro-section, some people worked hard on it and we would decide sunday what we would do about that. Results Saturday: 1. Arnaud Dubois 2. Mike Kaltoft 3. Klaus Bøgh Andresen 4. Johan Fransson 5. Jordy van der Heijden 6. Kevin Sprengers 7. Theis 8. Taxen Sunday: Yesterday we went early to bed because we had to get all our stuff in the car and the race also started early. I felt a bit tired because of yesterday but we would make the best out of it. The practise began and all the elite riders went to the pro-section. Also today it was really soft and no-one was able to make the 3rd jump. Everyone decided that we would only take the pro-section of the 3rd straight. The motos started and I had really good gates. Although the results weren't the best i could get, I felt pretty good about it. We had to wait almost 1 hour before the finals started so everyone was riding and chilling a bit in the sun. So then the finals began. My gate was not so well in the final, AGAIN. But I still got 4th out of the first turn. In the 2nd turn, 2 people were fighting with each other so I took the outside lane and jumped to 2nd on the pro-section, what also was my final result. Results Sunday: 1. Arnaud Dubois 2. Kevin Sprengers 3. Mike Kaltoft 4. Klaus Bøgh Andresen 5. Johan Fransson 6. Jasper Verkuyl 7. Jordy van der Heijden 8. Rasmus asp Laursen Final Ranking: 1. Arnaud Dubois 2. Mike Kaltoft 3. Klaus Bøgh Andresen 4. Kevin Sprengers 5. Johan Fransson |
