Shimano in partnership with several of their sponsored racers have developed an Olympic "race tuned" specification of their PD-M647 pedal that meets the demanding requirements of world class BMX racers.

There are only 20 sets in the world and ten fortunate and deserving riders will get one pair each. A training pair and a race day pair.

This pedal is based on the PD-M647 platform and has been modified to assure that the rider does not unclip under the extreme power loads at the starting gate.

We specifically tuned the release angle and modified the "free float" resistance in respond of countless hours of test monitor feedback.

On top of that it has to be the greatest looking Shimano pedal ever.

This is just one of those cool things Shimano does to look out for there riders and continue to make great looking product.
