A week ago on Tuesday it all started, it was the last weekend of the euro series (round 11 and 12) I was ranked 3 and if you look at the hole season with a bad shoulder i think i have done the best i can, and that is giving me satisfaction, the last 4 races were good (including round 11 and 12)!! Wednesday evening i was going to the hotel were the rest of the talentteam and the dutch national team were staying and i would stay with them for the rest week!! Country practise went well, it was tricky to jump the second straight because of the wind but i managed it an it felt good, friday was cruiser day, The weather was perfect, a bit wind but not to hot, it was all good, everyting went well trough the qualification rounds and 1/2 final, i was in the main and felt strong, it felt like i hit the gate just a bit and lost a bit speed, but the acceleration was good so i was still in 1e spot, after some elbow fights i couldt block they inside were Joris came trough! after that the race was good but i couldnt get really closer to him, he raced a better lap, well done!!! On saturday my legs were ok after cruiserday, it was really hot and in training i didnt had the flow yet on my 20inch but my motos and 1/8 1/4 1/2 were good, in the main i felt good, but SamBEE's first straight was good hole day and he took the holeshot, after taking the inside in the first turn i had to pedal hard into the prosection to keep the second place, blocked Joris a bit and was able to make enough speed to come closer to Sam, into the last turn i didnt know were Joris was so i did something that had to look like a HIGH LOW but it wasnt good, i should had taken it higher to get more speed out of it, but after a good sprint trough the finishline i came pretty close and got second!! Good job AUSSIE BOY!!! Sunday, was the hardest race day i think i have had in years, it was the 3th race day in a row which was not good for my legs LOL... after a threatment of Richard i felt better and after my motos my legs felt better then in the morning, it was so hot and i dont know what they other riders thought about it but, i wasnt used to this kind of wheather, it felt like we didnt had spring this year, we had a bad winter and now the summer look likes started!! but its better then rain and wind so that was ok, same like yesterday, 1/8 1/4 and 1/2 final, and the 1/2 of today was not NORMALLY, i guess its because Sam cind of hussled the results, because top 6 in the ranking was in my SEMI, i won it but i didnt seen that before!! MAIN TIME, in the pre start i felt strong and confidence, sam picked lane 2 and i had lane 1, my snap wasnt the best one so Sam came to the inside a bit (which was good racing) so i couldnt pull on the first straight, i took the holeshot again but my first turn was good so i came pretty close, into the second straight Vincent pass me, in they air of the lost jump i saw a gap, did a HIGH LOW and make the move from the 3 spot to the 2 spot, Sam was cind of to far away to get him on the 3rd straight, but i came a bit closer, after the last turn my legs were tired and i couldnt beat him but i kept my 2th place, were i was happy with!!
