Jorg de Louw and Andreas Hoepping (bmx Weiterstadt) made it possible for the team to have a trainingweekend at the European Championship track at Weiterstadt Germany. Most riders and parents arrived on friday at the hotel in Weiterstadt where David Tailor parked his motorhome behind the hotel and showed his incredible drivers skills. After a good German breakfast on saturdaymorning we started our first trainings session at 11.00 am till 1.00 pm followed by a 2 hour break and the second session from 3.00 pm till 5.00 pm. practice went pretty well in spite off the strong wind on the track. On saturday evening the entire team with parents went to the local restaurant for a good meal. Sunday morning after a short sleep (european wintertime changed to summertime) we had the same ritual, this time on a sunny track without wind in the morning. In the afternoon we had stronger wind again, we saw the riders getting tired which resulted (in combination with the wind) in a crash from Jordi and a light injury for Dana.
